LCD JOURNAL ENTRY # 2

June 27,2011 - 2nd Entry.


          It is a good day! I,do a lot of things to help our environment.I segregate the non-biodegradable and biodegradable wastes.I turn off the television.I conserve the paper to avoid cutting down of trees.I save the energy by means of turning off the unused appliances.

LCD JOURNAL ENTRY # 1

June 18,2011 - 1st Entry.

                          
          This is my first week LCD Journal,the Journal contains my environmental responsiblity for whole week that I hope it will help to our environment.So,this are the things that I made in school,when I buy snack,I throw the trash of my food in the trash can or if I couldn't find a trash can I put the trash in my bag so when I go home I will dump it in my own trash can.When I have a paper that is crumpled and it cannot be use again,I make it a scratch paper,in this way I help to conserve trees.In house,I minimize the use of electricity.That is the things that I do for the whole week,I hope in my own little way it will contribute to the healing of Mother Earth.

Rain gauge.

         The Rain Gauge Journal  is our daily recordings of the amount of rainfall measured by Rain Gauge.We measure it by dipping the specialized ruler called "Meter Stick". Every 8:00 in the morning , we go to the English Garden to measure it.
               rain gauge is a device that measures liquid precipitation (rain), as opposed to solid precipitation (snow gauge) over a set period of time.All digital rain gauges are self emptying or self dumping (also referred to as tipping rain gauge). The precision of the rain gauge is based on the volume of rain per emptying cycle.
